    An excellent interview with sage advice from one who knows the game.

    The key points I took out:

    natural ability notwithstanding, ongoing private lessons turn out the best dancers;

    great dancers might not be great teachers;

    it is difficult to articulate to others something that is natural to you;

    get the business model sorted before you start teaching;

    earn your stripes before becoming a teacher.

    • Roberto Ramirez says:

      Hello Mike!

      Thanks for listening to the podcast!
      You got all the key points all right! Also, I would add “take care of the students”. After all, they are paying money, and trusting the instructors with their dance lessons.
