Outdoor Concert - first Sunday of a month

This is one of the best places to dance salsa and bachata in Taipei. Once a month, a group of DJs and organisers get together and throw an outdoor salsa and bachata party at Maji Square, near Yuanshan MRT station.

Entry is free and there are all different age groups and even a little free lesson around 20.00 for half an hour. Not only is this the only regular outdoor party in Taipei, it is also special because they play a lot of Cuban / Timba salsa music that is rare in other places. Another unique feature is that the DJs bring some instruments like Maracas, Claves and Güiro to play along the music. Overall, a wonderful experience.
