Budapest, the capital of Hungary entices visitors with its turkish baths, castles, and chateaus. The city of 1.7 million inhabitants is the second largest city along the Danube river and a major transportation hub in Central Europe as well as a magnet for European tourists that visit the city especially in summer.

The western side of the city is called Buda whereas the eastern side of the city (on the left bank of the Danube river) is called Pest. The historical city center is mainly on the Pest side from the river stretching 1-2 km east. The parliament and old town are some of the most remarkable places on that side of the river. On the Buda side, the elevation rises and a castle sits ontop a little hill rising directly from the city. All these places in a radius of about 3 km can be considered city center and many of the dance scene events take place here.
